Meet the team behind Ace Cross Country

Abbots Court Equestrian can be found just off Junction 1 of the M50, at Twyning, just north of Tewkesbury.  We are a working arable farm and have been owned by the Williams family since the 1960s.

We, along with BE course builder, Simon Grundy, have designed and built a variety of jumps, water complexes, banks and more that range in size from tiddlers on lead rein to 90cms. Our aim is to offer horses & riders of all abilities a fun, interesting and challenging XC experience. You can hop a simple log, tyre jump or head for the more complex arrowheads and corners. You can view the gallery and see most of our jumps or come along and see them for yourself. The majority of our jumps are portable so that we can vary the course and easily move them if ground conditions change. We simply want you to come and have a safe, fun learning adventure!

Upon the 40 acre fields, we also have a full set of show jumps that include a water tray and multiple filler boards. A full course of working hunter jumps, complete with a style size fence, water tray and foliage to complete the look and feel.

There are also 2 grass dressage arenas for hire giving those chance to prepare for the BE season ahead then with access to hire one of our two white boarded arenas at 20x40 and 20x60 which also incorporate flower boxes as you would experience at any dressage competition.

New to 2021 is a new grid work arena. This arena has 4 cavaletti jumps that can be rotated around to give 3 varying heights and 3 jumps, giving the horse and rider a line of 7 in a row.
